Is conservation behavior elastic to information about climate change; Measurement from Germany

**Short Description:** Our study will provide the first estimates of elasticity of climate concerns with respect to beliefs about the near-term impacts of climate change. In addition, it will provide important evidence on the socio-economic determinants of environmental preferences in Germany. The results will help design efficient measures to mitigate climate change.

**Incentives:** 5€ for correct answer (or within a certain range)

**Methodological Details:** Some people, randomly selected, received an information “treatment” – the information treatment provided most recent estimates of climate damages from the IPCC 6 th report – “Climate Change 2022: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability.” All respondents (with and without treatment) were asked several questions related to climate change related, for intance about two beliefs, one regional (European Union or Germany), the other global.
